Zycus is hiring a Proposal Consultant/Solution Consultant with experience in Solution consulting and providing demos of e-procurement software. Candidate should have prior experience of working with e-procurement “procure to pay” or “source to pay” (P2P / S2P) products like SAP ARIBA, COUPA, IVALUA, BASWARE, JAGGAER or any other similar strategic sourcing / e-sourcing / procure2pay / Source2pay product suite.
The role requires the candidate to have strong problem-solving skills and good business acumen. The candidate will be a part of the Emerging Markets - Presales Team and will need to focus on optimizing metrics such as customer engagement, deriving business value and formulating value propositions. The candidate is expected to come up with fresh ideas and leverage opportunities that enable conversion of potential customers. The candidate is expected to pitch his/her ideas in an effective way and formulate strategies to make a winning proposal.
The focus of this role is to manage pursuits process and engage with all key internal stakeholders to ensure a professional, complaint and compelling pitch is submitted.
The incumbent will be reporting to Lead Manager - Presales.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for timely planning, management and completion of Pitch submission
Responsible for end to end pursuit management and review against client requirement
Develop a creative approach to create and present each strategic bid
Responsible for all aspects of pursuits from kick-off to submission
Formulate the pitch by reaching out to respective functions within the organization
Run pursuits with the pursuit lead to establish WIN themes
Understand Business Problem, identify process gaps and build business case for the pursuit
Extend pursuit specific market intelligence/competitive intelligence to the team
Responsible for creating, tracking and controlling pitch documentation for submission and specific review checkpoints
Responsible for product positioning, evaluating customer’s requirements and offering custom configured demonstrations for better value propositioning.
To progress sales opportunities alongside the sales team or account management teams
Drive technical demonstrations and Proof of Concepts
Engaging technical partnership management including integration POC’s and technical discussions
Attend onsite meetings with customers and prospects to support the sales team
Ensure quality outputs of documentation & information at every point of the sales process
Act as a trusted advisor during the sales process
Identify key differentiators for Zycus and strategies versus market competitors
Answer Request For Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI/PQQ)
Create Sales Proposals and Sales Presentations
Guide the Sales team in creating pricing documentation
Facilitate and drive performance management processes
