Job Description:
Mandatory SkillSets
Lucene
Shell Scripting
Junit
Configuration Management (Git, Hg)
Candidates must be comfortable with Lucene API-s (4.x & above) and must have good working knowledge and actual production experience.
Desirable SkillSets (Very Basic Familiarity)
Queuing Systems (Kafka, MQ etc..)
NoSQL Systems (HBase etc..)
ZooKeeper
Hadoop
ElasticSearch
SOLR
A basic working knowledge on Hadoop (API-s, management etc..) is also a must for the candidates.
Any actual production experience in Lucene or ElasticSearch or Solr is highly desirable. The candidates are expected to code, build and maintain distributed production grids of non-trivial scale.
Passion, Sense of Ownership, Absolute Commitment to Production Support are expected from the candidate
