The GTC Product Safety Engineer is a key player in ensuring new upcoming automotive products are safe for consumer usage in society.
He/She has the following tasks:
• Conduct functional safety analysis and verification.
• Adhereance to project milestones in respect with QCD rules
• Coordinates the activities of the Product Safety Engineers on the project
• Supports the Project Team Members for Safety Requirements implementation
Technical Mission:
o Performs Product Safety activities on Projects in compliance with Valeo methodology: HW Safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, Reliability), Safety Concepts
o Supports the Valeo standardization processes o Deploys the GEEDS Safety Platform and Building Blocks strategy General Missions:
o Enforces the application of Safety Standards in Valeo
o Ensure the compliance of projects to ISO26262 and other applicable Standards
o Active participation to the Functional Safety team process continuous improvement
o Active role in Valeo Safety Culture development Skills:
o Good level in documentation management
o Experience in Embedded System, Hardware or Software design: >=2 years
o Knowledge of ISO26262 is a plus
o System mindset o Team Player
