Job Description:
Required Qualifications/Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or IT
● Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar position.
● Exposure to website development with PHP, JavaScript, HTML
● Hands on experience on database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
● Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
● Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
● Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment with
changing priorities.
● Passion for building high quality software products.
● Excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
Preferred Experience:
● Exposure to website development with Vb.Net, C#, Node.js
● Any previous knowledge of PowerSchool is a plus

Work hours and Days: 8 hours per day; 5 days/week (flexible, based on needs)
Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Technology, this position is primarily responsible for the
development and maintenance of technology based solutions to support AES systems.
Position Responsibilities
● Provide technical expertise and programming support for technology projects and initiatives.
● Create and/or assist in functional specification, design documents, technical specification for all
new and existing development requests
● Create technical procedures and written documentation for new and existing technology projects.
● Coordinate development on multiple projects.
● Ensure security and reliability of critical time-sensitive school software
● Assist in troubleshooting software application issues.
● Identify opportunities and make recommendations for custom applications that can improve
efficiency of AES systems.
● Able to design Test cases and write Test scripts
● Maintain existing wordpress sites
● Provide redundancy for other personnel in the main technology office when others are on vacation
or during emergencies or otherwise needed
● Provide support to both the Educational Technology and Systems & Support teams at AES.
● Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
