About the Role:
ShareChat is seeking an intern in the Public Policy and Music Partnerships team to help support the team in various capacities. The intern will work across various verticals ranging from music licensing, product policy, public policy and content moderation. Candidates should have knowledge of and interest in IPR, internet policy and media regulation. They should also have excellent analytical skills.
What You’ll Do?
● Assist the team in determining internal policy positions for various technological products and content moderation.
● Prepare briefs of policy changes introduced by the Government.
● Articulate policy positions for internal teams in order to support queries and requests.
● Understand and research public opinions and perspectives to inform policy creation and policy adjustments.
● Assist the team in drafting and finalizing legal documentation and advise on media regulatory issues.
Who are you?
● Pursuing final year/has completed their graduation/postgraduation/course from a reputable institution in:
- Law
- Public Policy
● The Candidate should have a demonstrable interest in tech/ media/social media policy issues.
● Excellent writing and analytical skills.
● Familiarity with web and social media trends.
