Job Description:
Responsibility:
Create Infotainment specification, high level features & development methodology
Create the following specifications w.r.t. Infotainment:
Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Quotation (RFQ)
Control Spec/Hardware spec/Software spec
End Customer specific test/abuse cases
Study of competitors models to identify New Technology/Implementation method in MSIL models
Infotainment Layouting/Packaging in vehicle
Coordination with business partners for development of Infotainment & deployment in multiple models
Coordination of the activities with the product owners and process partners and taking care about efficiency, scalability, cost efficiency, Quality and maintainability
Schedule management inline with vehicle schedule
Competency Requirement:
Technical/Functional:
Profound experience in Electrical & Software design & development
Hands on experience in development of Electrical/Electronic components with business partners
A good understanding on Hardware & Software architecture & interface with other vehicle systems
Hands on experience in creating Requirement requirements for Infotainment (BT, Wi-Fi, Voice Assistant, HMI etc.) from end customer perspective
Profound knowledge on infotainment peripheral parts [Mic, Antenna, Speakers etc.]
Profound experience for 3rd part certifications (Wireless Android Auto, CarPlay, Alexa).
Hands on experience in testing infotainment parts at bench & vehicle level
Hands on experience of bug identification & resolution for Electrical & Software issues
Should have a natural zeal to understand technology trends in various cross-functional domains such as consumer electronics etc.
