Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Testing Standards
- Understand Quality Concerns
- Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality
- Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories
-- Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria
-- Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality
- Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define Cross-Product Integration Scenarios
- Identify requirements for and solutions to Test Data creation
- Define, create and maintain Test environments
- Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories
- Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality
- Define, implement and execute Test Plans during Development and Delivery phases of the project
- Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion
- Track Bugs through resolution and implementation
- Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition
Skills
Must have
Required Qualifications:
• Familiar with DrillingXpert Software
• Able to adapt to and follow established team processes
• Understands task prioritization and can manage time effectively
• Understands the test case creation process
• Drilling industry experience
• Accurate time estimations for tasks
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Contribute during Sprint planning to ensure all testing concerns are discussed
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define end user and testing workflows
• Good troubleshooting/problem solving skills
• Comfortable demoing new features to an audience of peers, management, stakeholders
