Job Description:
Responsibilities
Implement and sustain Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs/guidance that enables the safe and compliant deployment of our technical infrastructure.
Identify and evaluate operational EHS risks to impact the business, analyze risk scenarios to determine their potential impact to the business, and design/lead programs to mitigate those risks.
Conduct assessments of existing EHS performance to ensure alignment with regional Google Data Center (GDC) strategy, including analyzing EHS business risks and identifying, describing and estimating efficiencies to be gained through established programs.
Assess EHS training needs based on identified operational risks and ensure that workforce training activities are provided to meet business and legislative requirements.
Monitor, manage, and own EHS performance indicators to ensure that facilities are in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal practices and procedures.
