Job Description:
Responsibilities
As a Production Support (Technical), your responsibilities include –
Respond to client’s prod issues with agility
Check the issue and relevant logs; and work with development team for the code fix
Deploy the builds into AWS Prod environment
Create new prod environments
Lead the monthly DR (Disaster Recovery) test exercises
Work with IT / cloud team for regular AWS server patches, upgrades, certification changes etc
Ready for off-hours support. Total work hours will not exceed 40 hrs.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Engineering degree or related technical field.
Good in communication and client facing
Knowledge on AWS, Java deployment and scripting.
Familiarity with Web application
Knowledge of relational database (Postgres / Oracle)
Experience in SDLC, bug tracking tool (Jira or similar)
Preferred qualifications
Good understanding of the Cloud technologies
Experience with RESTful service architecture.
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
Experience in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
