Work you’ll do
The Data Scientist will be focused on developing forward looking, predictive assets int the InSightIQ business. That includes modeling, feature creation, product building, and advanced analytics that are the foundational IP we put on top of the InSightIQ data sources. Analytics work will be primarily performed in GCP (Google Cloud) and Python so significant use of SQL, Python, and big data is required. The Data Scientist will spend their time serving clients and building the InSightIQ capability. This will include developing capabilities and assets within InSightIQ, supporting sales (biz dev) and client delivery efforts as a lead data and insights analyst. This role also requires intermediate Tableau skills and mastery of Excel. Familiarity with Cloud engineering is a plus. This is a cross sector role.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a top-tier university
1-3+ years’ experience leading / implementing data science solutions
Strong skills in various programming and database languages, such as Python, PySpark, SQL
Experience with BI/analytics tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools
Deep understanding of data science principles and machine learning concepts
Experience using statistical computer languages to prepare data for analysis, visualize data as part of exploratory analysis, generate features, and other similar data science driven data handling
Strong functional skills such as using Excel
Experience in cloud-based eco-systems such GCP, AWS, or Azure for development and deployment of models
Analytical mind with proven ability to dissect problems, devise data science solutions, and drive business outcomes
Strong storytelling skills with experience presenting to large technical and non-technical audiences
A desire to take initiative and continuously work on improving the products you are responsible for
