Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Execute stress analysis projects using commercial FE tools with minimal supervision.
Work with Project leads (offshore/onshore) in understanding the scope, boundary condition, material models, type of analysis etc.
Execute stress analysis as per the standard work
Understand and Adhere to the quality requirements
Deliver results ensuring 100% quality and on-time delivery
Prepare detailed stress analysis reports substantiating the results and present to Project leads/Customer

Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Stress analysis of Mechanical components (Aero, Rail, Automobile and Industrial) using ANSYS-APDL, Workbench, Nastran, Patran, Abaqus, Optistruct, LS Dyna and HyperMesh.
Should have a basic knowledge in FEA Theory, Solid mechanics, Machine design and Fatigue.
2D & 3D Finite Element modeling of simple, moderate and complex components (Hexahedral & tetrahedral elements) using ANSYS-APDL, Workbench, Nastran, Patran, Abaqus, Optistruct LS Dynavand HyperMesh.
Linear and non-linear static stress analysis (Geometric, Material and contact Linearity) using ANSYS-APDL, Workbench, Nastran, Patran, Abaqus, Optistruct and LS Dyna
Modal, Harmonic and transient Dynamic stress analysis
Strength, stability and Durability assessment of components
Damage tolerance analysis to estimate fracture life
