WHAT YOU'LL DO

The HR Assistant will be working closely with the GSB Regional HR team based in India. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our regional people management activities and will provide HR services and own HR processes for GSB India, with a strong emphasis on HR Operations
• Responsible for capturing all business process transactions on Workday and ensure data accuracy with timely system audits
• Managing onboarding for GSB employees ensuring co-ordination with line manager and 100% usage of GSB onboarding tool
• Coordination and ownership of entire local HR processes for the office, including: Onboarding, Probation, leave data consolidation - LOAs (maternity, paternity), Flexible working, Promotions & Exits
• Managing end to end employee lifecycle for all GSB contingent workers including contract extension, salary approvals/increments and exits
• Providing knowledge on local policies/procedures in line with BCG standards where appropriate
• Providing occasional HR assistance to the larger HR team as required
• Contributing to other GSB-related projects with a focus on HR

• Administrates and updates repositories/processes
• Starts to build a network and develop understanding of the HR function
• Completing tasks with high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
• Strong attention to detail, with strong service orientation and good business judgment
• Initiative, ownership, and result-orientation
• A sharp analytical mind-set: should feel comfortable with new digital ways of “reading” data (e.g., Tableau) and with digital communications tools (Trello, Slack, etc.)
• Highest level of integrity expected, treating all HR-related information as confidential
• Flexibility, reliability and the ability to work under pressure

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• Bachelors’/ Masters’ degree in Human Resources or a relevant field
• 2-3 years’ experience in HR experience, preferably in a corporate environment
• Fluent English language skills, both written and oral
• Experience in HR Operations – End to end employee life cycle management
• Proficiency in MS Office products, such as PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel; other tools such as Workday
• Ability to work effectively in a global virtual environment, with strong service orientation, teamwork skills
