Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute Infrastructure as Code, Application Code, configurations, CICD pipelines or tests to support application migration.
Contributing to designs of application architectures utilising cloud native principles.
Collaboration across the TDI areas such as Cloud Platform, Security, Data, Risk & Compliance areas to create optimum solutions for the business, increasing re-use, creating best practice and sharing knowledge.
Contributing to the implementation of the cloud SDLC, SRE and operational control automation to provide productivity improvements, including tools and techniques.
Skills & Qualifications:
You will be a hands on engineer, with experience in or keen to learn the new cloud and devops technologies such as Terraform, Github Actions and the GCP cloud native services.
You understand software engineering principles such as cloud native architectures, testing, monitoring and resilience.
You would adopt an automation-first approaches to testing, deployment, security and compliance of solutions through Infrastructure as Code and automated policy enforcement.
You enjoy supporting our community of engineers and creates opportunities for progression, promoting continuous learning and skills development.
You may have a GCP certification, but this is not mandatory, but you would be aware of cloud technologies and for internal mobility will have completed the DB GCP training programme.
